For nearly two decades, knowledge workplaces have become increasingly flexible, yet most full-blown remote work programs up until now have failed. In this presentation, Gensler will share findings from a recent survey conducted with 2,300+ U.S. workers across 10 different industries to understand how we can rethink the physical workplace in a post-pandemic world. As companies grapple with office re-entry plans, and some have publicly committed to supporting remote work indefinitely, the new office paradigm will need to be focused on collaboration, socialization, connection, and community building. Gensler’s David Craig will discuss workplace strategies around future hybrid workplaces and how the buildings that house them might function.
